Airedale by Modine's Technical FAQs: Answers in the Machine?
Airedale by Modine offers a technical support helpline manned by seasoned air conditioning and refrigeration engineers. The aim? To assist customers for the lifespan of their equipment.
The service desk is available from 09:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday. For those preferring the digital route, enquiries can be emailed, detailing the issue and any error messages. If the FAQs don't solve the conundrum, Airedale by Modine can be reached at 0113 239 1000, or you can submit your enquiry here.
The Technical FAQs cover a range of common queries, including:
- Password for the Airedale controller
- Location of the unit serial plate — usually inside the unit on the back of the panel doors or the electrical panel
- Changing the display language from, say, German to English: Press Esc and Enter together
- NO LINK on the display? This could be a controller, display or EEV driver address setting issue, or even just dodgy cabling
- OFF BY REM INP? Check the remote hard wired signal from the BMS
- Resetting humidifier hours after a Warning Cylinder 1 Maintenance alarm
- CRITICAL ALARM messages — usually Water Flood Detection, Fire/Smoke link, or Condensate Pump High Level trip
- Draining the humidifier bottle on a Smartcool system
- LAN DISCONNECTED? Likely a break in the network
- SERIOUS FLOW or EVAPORATOR FLOW alarm? Could be low or no water flow.
- Clearing the airflow fail alarm on an older Trend IQ controlled unit
- Auxiliary alarm on an Ecotel unit
And many more. It all sounds helpful enough, doesn't it?
