BITZER Launches Digital Network for Compressor Management
BITZER has launched its Digital Network (BDN), offering users a digital interface for managing their refrigeration and air conditioning compressors.
Available since early March 2021, the BITZER Digital Network (BDN) provides access to valuable digital services related to BITZER compressors. BITZER is contributing to the Internet of Things by offering product and application-specific information on all BITZER products.
Key features include online monitoring, compressor operating reports and troubleshooting assistance. The platform is based on BITZER's cloud services and IQ products. It allows users to observe refrigeration system components and prepare detailed analyses. This includes access to an electronic spare parts database, online documentation, and selection software.
The BDN allows for product registration, providing access to technical information, certificates, and approvals. Users can upload application-specific documents and manage service activities. The BDN connects to BITZER IQ products, enabling storage and analysis of compressor operation data, with alerts for operational anomalies. Accessible via the myBITZER portal or the BITZER SPOT app, the network offers multilevel permission management for registered products and a preconfigured gateway for immediate cloud connection.
The implementation of BDN may offer the scope to reduce downtime through remote access to immediate insights. This approach may affect current infrastructure and workflows for BITZER customers, necessitating integration with existing systems and training for optimal utilisation.
