KE2 Therm's Service Tool App Earns ACHR Dealer Design Award
KE2 Therm Solutions’ KE2 Service Tool App – now under the Distech Controls portfolio, part of Acuity Brands – has snagged a Gold Award at the ACHR News 2023 Dealer Design Awards, marking it as a pinnacle in HVACR product design.
The KE2 Service Tool App secured its Gold Award in the Commercial Controls category from ACHR (Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration) News. The KE2 Service Tool App transforms a mobile phone into a KE2 Edge Manager, affording users access to KE2 Therm devices within a building – even sans internet connectivity. This allows technicians to view controller dashboards in real-time, adjust setpoints, initiate defrost cycles, review historical data and manage setpoint backups.
According to Distech Controls, the award acknowledges products that are easy to install, maintain and service – qualities that, one imagines, appeal to most HVACR outfits.
