Mitsubishi Electric Expands Heat Pump Training at Hatfield Centre
Mitsubishi Electric is expanding its UK training centre to offer LCL Awards-certified, Ofqual-accredited heat pump training courses. In response to the growing demand for skilled heating professionals amidst the UK's low-carbon transition, Mitsubishi Electric is expanding its training programme at its Hatfield training centre. This initiative aims to support the upskilling of heating professionals.
The courses, developed in collaboration with CIPHE, HPA and MCS, offer three nationally recognised qualifications. These include a Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Heat Pump Systems, aimed at professionals with a heating background seeking a qualification in heat pump installation and maintenance, leading to a Level 3 LCL-accredited qualification. Also available are courses in Low Temperature Heating and Hot Water Systems in Dwellings and Water Regulations.
Heating engineers may be eligible for a discount of up to £500 towards the cost of heat pump training. Installers in the Mitsubishi Electric Partner Programme can claim training costs back from their Relationship Development Fund. Further information is available here .
